field trip to Early College Opportunities High School

ECRA eighth-grade students took a tour of ECO! Myself, along with core teachers want to be able to provide next-step experiences and offer multiple high school options for students to get excited about while able to make educated decisions for the next four years of high school. Students had fun getting an up-close view of trades courses offered.

ECO offers a challenging curriculum designed to prepare students for higher education and careers in skilled trades. We partner with Santa Fe Community College, the Institute of American Indian Arts, and San Juan College. By enrolling in dual credit courses, high school students can earn college credits and high school credits at the same time accelerating their educational journey. To foster the development of future business leaders in the community, students are encouraged to pursue their passions, while teachers are motivated to align the curriculum and teaching methods with these interests.

CO welcomes students eager to participate in dynamic, unconventional learning experiences that enhance their college and career prospects in STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). – https://eco.sfps.info/
