We cannot be more thrilled to begin another Amazing CISNM School Year! After a thoughtful summer of reflection and planning for the year ahead, we are excited to bring the meaningful work of CISNM forward into another year with a focus of deepening and widening our work. Deepening our practice to be the best it can be and widening because we are growing into two new school sites this year with full-time Student Success Facilitators. We aim to broaden our reach of our suicide prevention training to reach 50 communities. We can’t wait to be of service to our growing community!
Deep listening is the way to start. We have taken the summer to reflect on the data of the past year, survey responses from school staff and community members, feedback from our own internal staff and the school district, all to make sure that the year ahead meets the needs of our community. We continue to emphasize well-being internally and externally. We hold our values of community, integrity, empathy, equity, joy, learning and inspiration with intention as we begin this year, ensuring that these values guide our day to day.
Our all-staff retreat included connection, cohesion, and skill building. We are continually solidifying our case-management practices to be of the highest quality while we bring the joy back to learning and make sure students have everything they need to succeed from basic needs to a consistent, kind, caring adult that helps them believe in themselves.
We celebrate the success of the last year both of our students and our incredibly talented staff and we know that our learning is the foundation of our collective ongoing success and thriving. We aim to live what we practice with our schools, students and families every day and we are ready to be of service in every way!
