It’s hard to believe we are approaching the end of another successful school year. This is such an exciting time for our students- especially our seniors at Capital High School! This year, we have 40 rising grads on track to graduate! This 25% increase over last year is a testament to the dedication of our amazing Capital High School Site Coordinator team and the deep care they provide to the young people they support.

Relationships are the heart of CIS’s work. Site Coordinators like Maria (pictured above, with student Ailyn) build strong and caring bonds with their students, keeping them on the pathway to success through a combination of gentle mentorship, guidance and connections to community resources that support student and family wellbeing. Perhaps most importantly, Site Coordinators like Maria help their students develop belief in themselves so they know they can and will succeed!
