One of the most exciting is the outcomes from a third-party evaluation report CIS shared with us in June of 2020. In partnership with the University of New Mexico Center for Social Policy, CIS conducted an evaluation of their use of Anchorum funds and the impact of their programing.”​

Because CIS services are school based, the volunteers and site coordinators can leverage their close working relationships with children and families to improve outcomes for student’s individual goals, and food insecurity while also having an impact on high school graduation rates.”
